Nathaniel Berkman

Founder and Co-leader

Nathaniel Berkman, a second-year at Harvard College, hails from New York City. He is dedicated to blending his passions for technology and finance with his firm belief in the power of social impact investing.

Nathaniel's commitment to social impact became evident during his internship at the Community Resource Exchange. There, he assisted with the grant-awarding process, evaluated applications, assessed potential returns on investment, and participated in selecting deserving grant recipients. His work helped to reduce poverty, increase equity, and expand opportunities within local communities. He further demonstrated his commitment to his community through his volunteer work at the GO Project and the Bridgehampton Youth Tennis Project.

In tenth grade, in response to the economic fallout from the pandemic, Nathaniel made strides towards democratizing financial knowledge. He developed a website that simplified financial literacy and made it easily accessible. Furthermore, during his time at Grace Church School, he founded the Computer Science Club, helped lead the Investment Club, and served as a Student Ambassador.

Nathaniel's academic pursuits have taken him to the New York Institute of Finance and Wharton, where he focused on global financial systems and quantitative modeling, respectively.

Beyond his academic and social pursuits, Nathaniel is an avid tennis player and programmer who loves to watch basketball.
